Maybe it doesn’t have a song written about it like “Downtown” or “Uptown” does, but don’t count Midtown out. Philadelphia’s Midtown Village (formerly, affectionately known as the “Gayborhood") is an entity unto itself stretching from 13th St. between Locust & Chestnut; Sansom St. between Juniper & 12th; Locust St. between 12th & 13th; 12th St. between Locust & Walnut; and Drury Lane.
