| Simone Torres wowed the judges on season 3 of The X Factor |
Last night FOX aired part 2 of The X Factor Season 3 premiere. On this televised competition hosted by Mario Lopez, singers aged 12 and over compete in four categories: Boys, Girls, Over 25s and Groups. For the audition phase, singers are reviewed by judges Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio. Eventually, the judges will be assigned a category to mentor, and the public will get to vote on who will win a recording contract with Syco/Sony Music. Season 3, episode 2 of The X Factor brought us eight contenders: Rylie Brown, Jeff Brinkman, Rachel Potter, Jorge Peňa, Simone Torres, Al Calderon, Denise Weeks, and a trio of sisters called Roxy Montana.
