Previously on Dance Moms, studio owner Abby Lee Miller held another round of open call auditions for the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC). This week on Dance Moms season 4, episode 6 titled "Clash of the Chloes," Abby invites one of the girls who tried out, Chloe Nguyen, for a trial run with the team. Because Abby has announced she wants to replace one or more ALDC members, and because the team already has a dancer with the same first name – the fabulous Chloe Lukasiak – Abby calls them "old Chloe" and "new Chloe." This, of course, creates tension and mama drama.

Previously on Dance Moms, studio owner Abby Lee Miller cut Payton from the team; the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) beat Cathy Nesbitt-Stein's Candy Apples group at the Dance Troupe International competition in Roanoke, Virginia; Chloe won over teammate Kendall when Abby made them dance head-to-head. Despite her team's recent success, Abby is still determined to replace some or all of the girls (except for Maddie, her favorite). This week on Dance Moms Season 4, episode 5 titled "No One is Safe," Abby holds auditions in Atlanta, Georgia; Melissa defends her choice to homeschool her daughters Maddie and Mackenzie; Nia is featured dancer in the group routine.

'Dance Moms' Recap S4 E4: Payton Cut, Chloe vs. Kendall Round 2

Previously on Dance Moms, the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) traveled to Orlando, Florida. The ALDC was there to compete; Abby went early to audition new dancers. Abby's being coy about how many ALDC members will be replaced, but this week on Dance Moms Season 4, episode 4 titled "Chloe vs Kendall Round 2", Payton was the first cut when she showed up for rehearsal on crutches.  Abby accused her of causing her own injury by goofing around backstage in Orlando. This made Leslie (Payton's mom) angry, an argument ensued, and Abby fired them both. Also this week, Abby makes Chloe and Kendall compete head-to-head again, and Abby nemesis Cathy Nesbitt-Stein is back with yet another new team.

'Dance Moms' Recap S4 E3 Abby Strikes Back: Orlando Auditions

Previously on Dance Moms, studio owner Abby Lee Miller made Chloe and Kendall compete head-to-head to determine who would be her #2 girl (Maddie is #1) in the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC). Chloe won, but Kendall's mom Jill thought Chloe had an unfair advantage after the lineup was changed and Kendall danced first instead of last. Meanwhile, Abby and Leslie (Payton's mom) argued, and Leslie walked out. This week on Dance Moms season 4, episode 3, titled "Abby Strikes Back", Abby holds ALDC auditions Orlando, Florida. The moms (except for Melissa) worry that their daughters will be cut from the team, and it looks the worst for Payton after she suffers an ankle injury and leaves the competition on a stretcher.

'Dance Moms' S4 E2 Two Can Play This Game: Chloe vs Kendall for #2 Spot

Previously on Dance Moms, the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) was in the Sheer Talent Competition, and only came in third place. This was a letdown for teacher Abby Lee Miller, especially since her girls are the current National Champions. This week on Dance Moms season 4, episode 2 titled, "Two Can Play this Game," the ALDC competes against Abby's nemesis, Cathy Nesbitt-Stein and her Candy Apples team, and Abby assigns Chloe to dance against Kendall for the #2 spot, a move that leads to mama drama between Christi and Jill. However, it's Payton and her mom Leslie who have it toughest this week; Abby thinks Payton's too tall for the team, and publicly tells Leslie to "shut up".

'Dance Moms' Season 4 Premiere Recap S4, E1: Don't Get Too Comfy

When we last saw Dance Moms at the end of season 3, Christi (Chloe's mom) and Leslie (Payton's mom) brawled in the middle of the street in New Orleans. As a result, their horrified dance coach, Abby Lee Miller, sent them and their daughters back to Pittsburgh, PA, so they didn’t get to compete at Nationals. In the Dance Moms season 4 premiere titled "Welcome Back... Now Don't Get Too Comfy," Abby reenacts the fight in her choreography, and reminds the girls and their parents that this season, she's holding auditions for new dancers. Abby's mantra is "Everyone is replaceable," so several of the moms worry that it's their daughter who will be cut from the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC).

Last week on the Dance Moms Season 3 finale, the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) attended the Masters of Dance Arts Nationals in New Orleans, LA, where Christi (Chloe’s mom) and Leslie (Paytons’s mom) had a physical fight that led to both moms and their daughters being sent home. This week, Executive Producer Jeff Collins hosts the Dance Moms Reunion: Hurricane Abby, and we see Christi and Leslie, Abby and Kelly, and Kristi and Jill argue. Also, Abby reveals that she’s holding auditions for season 3 of Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition (season 2 began airing three weeks ago), and also the ALDC Elite Competition Team.

Previously on Dance Moms, Abby Lee Miller and the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) shuffled off to Buffalo to compete in the Masters of Dance Arts Regionals. This week, on the Dance Moms season 3 finale titled, “The Big, Not So Easy” (episode 37) the ALDC is at Nationals in New Orleans; it’s the biggest competition of the year. Before they get a chance to perform, Chloe and Payton are sent home after their mothers, Christi and Leslie, get in a physical fight, and Asia Monet Ray leaves the ALDC forever to accept offers in Los Angeles. Cathy Nesbitt-Stein and her Candy Apples Dance Center (CADC) also compete at Nationals; this week they're working with choreographer Blake McGrath.
